Summary: A little confession first. I suck at platforming. But I was able to play and enjoyed the Uncharted series so I found this and thought, why not. I missed out on this series when it first came out so, while an old game, it was new to me. There are some sections where I have been so frustrated, I have nearly just quit. And I am a bit of completionist so I don't give up on games.
Summary: I have been a Tomb Raider fan since TRII, but am disappointed. I scarcely know where to begin, but will do my best to make this as honest an appraisal as I can, by doing some comparison. I played all the titles, on XBox ...and yes, there were problems with the coding, sometimes. The action buttons often times just didn't work --or, they would take double-tapping, to do some of the things where a single tap should have sufficed.
Collection comes complete, even with original game-breaking bugs!

Summary: I am a first-time Tomb Raider player. I will give my brief impression of the 3 games here. Anniversary: Might have been really good when it came out back in the day, but it shows its age. The controls are awful, definitely the worst of the 3 games in this collection. I had to struggle to do some very basic jumps, and the game can be really unforgiving of slight mis-alignments. Modern games are a little more forgiving, I find.
Summary: The games themselves are classic, and their re-release for PS3 is most welcome. As concerns the present product, however, I have a few complaints. The games are HD indeed, however the remasterization of the first two games used the PS2 versions (which means poor textures and models). It's really a pity that they did not use the PC or XBOX versions which would have looked better. Moreover, all the bugs and glitches of the PS2 releases are also present here.
