Summary: I purchased this game mostly for my 6 year old son, as we had played the original games together. I didn't have high expectation for this collection, understanding the limitations of graphics and gameplay that the original games possessed. I think the biggest upside here is the variety in the way each game is put together, a strong and humorous story line, and the fact that as a parent I can endorse the E rating (which is not always the case).
Summary: I'd have to echo this reviewer http://www.amazon.com/review/RQ8LS2BCOI90V/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B003O680RM&nodeID=&tag=&linkCode= The first game is a fun platformer, but the developers radically changed the formula for the sequels. The sequels aren't bad games--they have their moments--but they certainly feel tedious at times.
Summary: Sly Cooper is an amazing game. It offers diversity in gameplay and some challenge. If I had to review entire collection based only on the first game I would give it 5/5. Unfortunately sequels instead of improving gameplay that worked, change the formula for something completely different.
