Summary: Great addition to the game. A new town, Appaloosa Plains, is added. There are two types of pets in the game: controllable and non-controllable. Controllable pets, like you control your Sims, are dogs, cats, and horses. Non-controllable pets are raccoons, turtles, snakes, gerbils, worms, and birds. Your Sims can also watch wild animals such as deer and horses. You can try and tame these animals and make them your pets. This is takes awhile but can be pretty fun.
Summary: Before I had stopped playing for a while (before I got my new computer), this game hadn't come out yet. But I knew it would because it was very popular in the Sims 2 series. As soon as I started playing again my husband bought me this one, and it's very fun! The horses are the best part in my opinion. I love it! Sometimes the horses glitch when my Sims are riding them, but it's not really a concern to me.
Summary: According to my daughter the Sims 3 pets is an outstanding addition to her Sims games. She has had no problems or glitches since adding it to her other Sims. The game plays great and keeps her busy and out of trouble for hours!
Summary: When you think of The Sims console versions, none really hold up well against it's PC ancestor. Yet Sims 3 Pet's is a refreshing approach to a otherwise struggling console franchise. There are a few minor setbacks, such as laggy moments and numerous load screens, but for me the load screens didn't take very long (average 10-20 seconds) and the lag was hardly noticeable (like the pc version). A small setback is the lack of some popular breed's of dogs and cats.
