Summary: I didn't have any of the technical troubles other reviewers had so that's a big plus. Anyway, I'm just going to jump into this. Creat-a-Sim has a few new customization options (clothing, hairstyles, etc), with the obvious addition of pets. Build/Buy mode has some new content too. Yay, right? I guess. The graphics have changed a bit as well. Everything looks much shinier (the sim's hair, skin, some clothes, furniture etc) and the color has a new dark, faded look to it.
Summary: ...I wish the pets could get jobs like in Sims 2. Aside from that, I really like it. It's a fun expansion, and I got it really inexpensive, so I can't complain about wasting the money. It's decent.
Summary: If you buy the download and it doesn't work on your system, you are stuck. AMAZON WILL NOT REFUND A DOWNLOADED GAME. Not even if it doesn't work. No matter how you try to prove it's been uninstalled. They'll just send you to EA, and EA is worse than useless for tech support and customer service. You'll never get your money back. And, as is common with The Sims family of games, the Pets expansion sometimes just doesn't work on certain computers.
Prepare to kill off your pets and your children...

Summary: I am a big Sims fan and have always played the PC versions before this. The reviews I read said that Sims 3 Pets was fairly robust for PS3 so I opted to get that and play on the couch rather than drop a ton of money on the PC game and all the expansion packs. (I already did that on Sims 2 and it still plays fine!
Summary: It's a great game. Difficult at times But addicting. You can beat the game. But you have to get past the glitches in the game. You can't get by week 10 without the game corrupting the saved data. And make sure you save a lot cuz it will freeze the ps3 to where you have to do a hard reboot. And sometimes just the game freezes. Had same problem with sims 3 to. It's the only games that does it. But its still a fun game. I diffently recommendyou buy it and have a blast.
Summary: First, I must tell you that I am a HUGE Sims fan, and still am even after this less that satisfactory game. It's not terrible, and if you can't run the PC version it's a great buy. On the other hand, if you're used to the PC version, stick with it. For a console Sims game it is still disappointing. If the PS3 Slim 160GB had PS2 compatibility, I would have bought that version, luckily, I still have my old GameCube copy.
