Summary: Short version: Get Lego LOTR, it's better in every way. Longer version: Pros: Uses a great license, focuses on a great character. That's about it. :( Cons: It really shows that this is a Wii port. You have to use the thumb sticks to move a floating arrow around menus (like a mouse pointer). The graphics are very poor for a PS3 game. The intro mission tells you a lot: You are going to run around and mash the attack button. You can't even jump.
Summary: i played this as a rental but will be buying it. it has several quests and a lot of mini quests to gain extra defense etc. it is cartoonish but i dont mind that seeing as it is a game. loading takes a bit but not a problem.
Summary: I bought this product due to good reviews and the PS3 move ability. I like that the game is similar to the movie's with you playing out the characters. Missions are easy and fun. Game is a little too easy. Great price on the game and delivered in good time. Would buy again from buyer.
Summary: Mediocre game. I may be biased considering I have been playing modern warfare, call of duty, and battlefield for all of my ps3 life. It kept me entertained for a bit. I only bought because it was cheap. If a young teen needs a video game, I would recommend.
Summary: If this game was just your average adventure game, I'd probably give it 1-2 stars. Because I am a LOTR fan, it gets 4. This game has PLENTY of issues that keep it from being a good game... But if you are a fan of the series, there is still plenty of fun to have in this game. Running around The Shire is pointless, but it's fun! Getting on a horse and riding around Edoras (i think that's what it's called) was a good time!
