Summary: I started off with high hopes that Spyro Dawn of the Dragon would be an enthralling and satisfying gamer experience given the acclaim and capitalisation its counterpart Skylander series had in the video game market.
Summary: The game looks fantastic and I was looking forward to playing it with my son. However, 20 minutes in you have a ledge jumping puzzle in 3D where you carry a rock that makes you unable to fly effectively. Sigh.
Summary: Folks I purchased this game since I already owned all of the other Spyro games (PS1 & PS2). This game is nothing like the rest of the series. If you like the other Spyro games don't buy this one rent it first.
Summary: I have only ever played the first Spryo before this one, and I have to say they are nothing alike. The graphics are great, but its more played out like a story or movie. You walk for a little bit then fight and it tells you what to press and then a movie comes on and does the rest for you.
Summary: I know that some will disagree with me but this game was very disappointing to me and my family. We have enjoyed the Spyro series over the years and eagerly anticipated this PS3 version. Unfortunately, the designers seemed to want to "upgrade" the game to be a much more complex and difficult game.
Summary: Was looking forward to this but finding it a bit disapointing. The colours are not up to the usual sharpness and where as in a lot of games you build up tolevels of difficulty after you know how and when things work, this seems quite difficult from the beginning, as i said, its early days yet, so...
Summary: If you have never played Spyro before you may find this game exciting. For those of you that have there is a lot left to be desired. Put it this way - I got a couple of levels from the end and just couldnt be bothered any more :( .
