Reluctant Review About Both Game and Gameplay
14 March 2014
Summary: Typically I'm not a fan of reviews that talk about the game itself more than the gameplay, but I feel like I should point this out. If I didn't like Skyrim so much (I played the base game on 360 before) I might have sent this back. This game, as Skyrim is known to do, glitches SO MUCH. It freezes sometimes, it can lag, there might be frame rate issues.
Summary: First off, this is the SKYRIM you want to get if you are getting SKYRIM. Do not get the original version as you will deny yourself the 3 great plugins (expansion packs) Dragonborn, Dawngaurd and Hearthfire. So sad that most RPGs nowadays are online only such as the infamous "World of Warcrack". The graphics are great but they push the PS3 a little too far and you will see performance issues. Don't get me wrong this is still a great game and very playable.
Summary: Is there anything Bethesda can't do well? Fallout, Elder Scrolls - they're works of art and they deliver solid gameplay. This game is a high-fantasy lover's dream come true. Be prepared to invest some time as you explore the mammoth world they've laid out. But, it's so worth it!
Summary: Still glitchy and laggy on PS3, but better than the first iteration. Also, a pretty good value considering all the DLC included on this disk. Undeniably, a great adventure that will eat your life.
Summary: To many bugs ruined my experience i consider this the beta test version i didn't have internet at the time so i couldn't patch it so i traded it in its not a bad game i used to play oblivion its the same thing just rebooted with new gameplay elements and story its best you get it for pc
Summary: I really enjoy this game. Getting sucked in and exploring the world and story that Bethesda has created is pretty amazing; however, there are some things that keep me from loving this edition of the game. I really enjoy the DLC, but this edition seems to have more bugs than the original, or at least on the PS3. Several times my game has frozen and there are weird textural glitches that happen every now and then.
Summary: Skyrim is a fantastic game, don't get me wrong. The world is vast and yearning for exploration, a staggering amount of content is jam packed into the game, and a fun but flawed combat system. With all these positive things however, Skyrim comes with a few problems that I must advise you, the player, about before buying this great game. The newest Elder Scrolls game has brought a lot of innovation to the RPG genre, but this isn't always positive.
