Superb paranormal mob story with run-and-gun action
16 December 2011
Summary: The Darkness follows a man on his 21st birthday as he uncovers paranormal facets of his life and tries to complete a hit for his mob boss. Of course, the hit encounters a hitch in the opening scene. The gameplay is slightly reminiscent of Alone in the Dark, another early PS3 game.
Summary: The Darkness is one of those games that's sitting on the clearance shelves of most retailers for under $10 that not many people know about. When released the game didn't get a lot of attention and sort of flew under the radar of most gamers.
Summary: I picked this up for around ten dollars and figured that it would be just an ok game. It actually is a lot of fun with cool graphics and good horror themes. I think the hardest part for me is the extensive amount of things that you have to remember.
Summary: June 25, 2007 - In the '80s, the comic book industry turned its back on four-color supermen in favor of dark and gritty anti-heroes. That trend continued well into the '90s, with new superstars blending the line of good and evil. No more clearly was this seen than in Marc Silvestri's The Darkness.
Summary: Shut off the lights and jump into an amazing game. As a horror author, I can proudly say that this game manages to deliver an eerie yet enjoyable experience. Near the beginning of the game, you will gain THE DARKNESS. This consists of these demonic eel-snake things that come out of the side of you.
Summary: Im a comic geek and love the Darkness...but...the game was fun for 20 or so bucks...graphics are nice...powers are so so. If you can get it cheap...under 20 Id recomend it...well if you havent played condemened Id REALLY recomend that.
Summary: This game is pretty fun. First of all and this is very important, the voice acting is superb. As a matter of fact, they spent so much on the talent, the characters lips/mouth movements for speech are very poor, but it does the trick.
