WorthPlaying
6 July 2008
  • Summary: Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy is a third-person espionage action game where players move from fistfights to firefights to experience sequences that, unlike any other game, seamlessly blend Bourne's signature hand-to-hand combat with intense shooting and the ability to escape and evade deadly situations.

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy

GamersHell.com
26 June 2008
  • Excerpt: Fighting with wicked-fast kung fu speed, advanced knowledge of specialized gadgetry and following through on world-saving missions are only a few of the qualifications listed on the job description for a 30 million dollar human weapon. Thanks to Hollywood and “I’m f***ing” Matt Damon, Jason Bourne is a recognizable clandestine assassin. Sierra’s High Moon Studios brings the classic book-to-film character to a new medium in Robert Ludlum’s: The Bourne Conspiracy.

Natural Bourne Killer

  • Excerpt: that buck tradition. It's a licensed game that not only manages to do the movies justice, but it's plenty of fun in its own right. It's an Unreal Engine 3-based game that not only different from most of the other UE3-powered games on the system, but for the most part it runs well too. It even blends hand-to-hand combat and shooting elements in a way that, for a time, almost seems more compelling than current PS3 king of the hill comes along to mess it up.

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy

Gamecell
29 July 2008
  • Conclusion: I really tried to like this game, and as a fan of the movies and this genre in particular I really wanted to like it, but it just felt too awkward, frustrating and too restrictive for me to get anything out of it. A real disappointment considering the opportunity they had. Another one for the movie-based game pile of mediocrity I am afraid.
  • Pros: Set pieces from the movie, Replaying the first movie in game form was interesting, Characters and environments are nicely done
  • Cons: Frustrating gun and hand to hand combat, Very restricted and repetitive gameplay, Poorly implemented controls, Weak driving sections

Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy

gamesector.dk
29 December 2008
