Summary: I grew up on Tekken. Tekken 2 was the very first video game I owned on Playstation. I liked it so much that I got Tekken 3. When Playstation 2 came out, I got Tekken Tag and Tekken 5. I played the 4th game but I never bought it for myself. After that, I went to college and fell off on video games. Now, in 2014, I got curious into playing again. I decided to play Tekken 6.
Summary: For those of you who buys the limited edition of tekken 6, you may be suprise to learn that the joystick is not the same as those joystick in the arcades. the base of the joystick is a square!..it doesn't rotate in a perfect circle, rather, it just clicks around..really hard to explain, but imma try..let's just say it's perfect for tekken, but if you plan to use it for street fighter, it doesn't feel right..as for the game itself, it's great!!
Summary: I wanted to wait at least a week after buying this game to post a review, and I'm glad I did. I've seen reviews ranged from glowing to garbage, and after a week with it I can see why the reactions are so varied. THE GOOD: Graphics are beautiful. I have both SC4 and Tekken6, and I personally think the movement and details on T6 outshine SC4. That's not a popular opinion, but I think it's quite obvious to me.
Summary: This is one of the most disappointing fighting games I've played this decade. I can't believe I'm having to say this about one of my most beloved franchises of all time. Something else that's even harder for me to believe is that I used up the last two remaining vacation days I had for work to stay home and play this complete piece of failing garbage. They've failed in no less than three major areas of the game, and here they are.. First and foremost, the graphics.
Summary: When it arrived I was really excitedbecause ive been a huge Tekken fan since the early days. However, when I started to play Tekken 6 I was really disappointed. Although it still has the same controls and similar gameplay, I am greatly disappointed by the overall presentation and graphics. The intro over builds the suspense then once you start the actual game it doesnt meet up with they suspense built up in you.
Summary: I had been an avid follow of the series since it's debut release in 1994, but now a very disheartened member of the old guard. Tekken 6 had promised so much, and like a fool, I could not restrain myself from embracing the inevitable disappointment. Why purchase Tekken 6? I cannot think of one reason to justify the purchase. It's gameplay, the backbone of every fighting game, is not well balanced and not very rewarding. In terms of gameplay, Tekken 3 and 5 serve you best.
Summary: I must say that tekken 6, comparing with tekken 3,4 and 5 had dissapointed me a lot! minuses: 1) every time game asks to choose side (left or rigth), every time I insert disk into PS3 it installs thophy set, can this game actually to remember anything? (installing game on PS3 does not change anything) 2) menus are awfully disigned, you must search for mode "where Ending Movies are unlocked"! movies sorted in irrational way. completely NOT user-friend design!
Don't Buy This If You Are A Fan Of The Old Tekkens

Summary: I got this game today from Morrisons and thought it's cheap ill try it out. so i put the game in thinking it would be like the old Tekken games and tried the arcade mode. Did the first four stages and thought its an ok game then came along Azazel the final boss of Arcade Mode and he just RAPES you. I have played my fair share or hard games and played them online and got owned but always managed to win at lest once. But with Azazel it's completely luck based.
Conclusion: I used to love playing on the first Tekken's for PS1 and the arcade versions simply because it was casual fighting. The campaign mode is a disaster because the controls are hard and annoying, the graphics aren't up to date, the most spoken language through the game is Japanese, the combo's are not good, the fighting just isn't the same as it used to be. I think that Namco tried to exspand the true meaning of Tekken and failed pretty badly.
