Summary: The game has been fun to play. I am a little older and surf, so it is close. I played a game years ago that was about snow boarding and I can tell that the game was taken from that format. Some of the moves are not surf related. Still, this is a positive review.
Summary: Surf's Up is based on the 2007 animated film with the same name. You play a penguin who surfs (duh!). I actually liked the movie and just randomly bought this game one day. Story: The plot of the movie is never really used in the game.
Summary: I ordered this game for my 4yr old and I to play together. He loves it and so does the rest of the family. It is easy for little hands to manipulate and advances through the levels quickly. I would recommend this for the very young gamer. Older kids might get bored. Excellent value.
Summary: Too short for adults, but kids love it. I'm 32, and enjoyed playing until I basically mastered it and there were no new stages to play. If you've got younger children, this is a great game for them. Fun while the new challenges lasted, and is still fun for my niece/nephew who are 7 and 5.
Summary: This game isn't meant to be a hardcore serious gamer game. Take it for what it is, have some fun, entertain the guests' children when you have company. Don't buy it new, its not worth $50, but it's definately worth it for $25 used if you can find it on Ebay or at a game store.
Summary: This game is amazing to me man! Being a huge surfing fan (I used to get my board out and pretend to surf when I was living inland) I was keen to check this game out. I was a little worried about the cartoon aspect because I love realism, however this game exceeded my expectations.
