Summary: I have to admit that I am not the target audience. I must be 20 years too old! This was purely a purchase for the EASY 1000 gamerpoints on offer. For this though it was not all that terrible. Its an arcade style game kind of like doing the half pipe in a Tony Hawks game. You sweep up a wave, perform a stunt get some points and boost and continue.
Summary: I've played pretty much all the surfing games from old skool Town and Country up to Kelly Slater and Transworld Surf and this is by far one of the most fun. The newer gen surfing games like the aforementioned Kelly Slater and Transworld went for more in realism but somehow missed the fun. They are very static and just kind of blah. Surf's Up reflects the movie on which it's based in that it has personality and a very cool look to it with a lot more color.
Summary: THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE FEWEST OF THE PS3 THAT KIDS CAN PLAY EASY , WISH MORE OF THIS KIND OF GAMES, PS3 IS MOSTLY FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS, 100% RECOMMENDED FOR LITTLE KIDS AND ADULTS CAN PLAY TOO
Summary: Uh, yeah. It's about surfing penguins. My girlfriend and I are way older than the target demographic of this one, but we both love this inexpensive game. We've had a fantastic time on the co-op mode screwing around trying to beat each other's high score. The single player is even better! It's addictive gameplay once you master the control scheme. The complainers on here didn't take the time to get into it.
Summary: I purchased this game for my 7 year old grandson. He has had so much fun with it. It is a great game for kids. Plus you can play it two player -- and it was not so difficult that I couldn't play it with him. We both had a great time playing it together. The penquins were so much fun. The graphics were fantastic and the gameplay very natural.
Summary: My son (age 5) really loved this game, and even my bf, who doesnt partically like video games, enjoyed this game. Most games are hard for younger children to play/understand, but this one is simple and fun....also very inexpensive!!
Summary: I ordered this game for my 4yr old and I to play together. He loves it and so does the rest of the family. It is easy for little hands to manipulate and advances through the levels quickly. I would recommend this for the very young gamer. Older kids might get bored. Excellent value.
