Summary: Stranglehold for the PC is the best version. The PS3 somehow managed to mess up everything that made this game the best. One: the sound cuts out during certain scenes (especially during the first seconds of the game). Two: Inspector Tequila doesn't look good at all on the ps3 port. I have component cables for video and Toslink for audio. It looks like they took character models from the psone and tried to give the illusion of a ps3 game. Three: the controls are horrible.
Summary: bought this game on the back of being a big John Woo/Chow Yun Fat fan. It seemed really good at first, although the graphics on the cut scenes are a bit lazy in terms of details. Diving around and using precision bullets is fun for a while but it soon gets tedious. The whole gameplay becomes shooting infinite amounts of rather dull AI baddies who just appear from nowhere after you walk over a partucular point.
Summary: This is the worst game i have ever played on my ps3. I have 20 games and i am planning to buy 10 perfect games too, the is the worst. I am so regretful for buying this. Graphics are terrible, playing is not interesting, sounds are poor. They sell this as the name: John Woo Presents...
Conclusion: I you love the idea of walking around and shooting people, and doing nothing else in a game then this is for you! However, if like me, you prefer games that require tactics, or a little bit of brain power or exploration, then stay well away! I just found this to be incredibly boring. John Woo, should stick to making films!
