Summary: I bought this game not expecting much, i go in game stop quite often and discuss games with a few friends that work there and one suggested this one, because i am a huge tales fan, fought against the idea and finally ended up buying it, brought it home and WOW was i astounded! phenomenal voice acting, battle sequence was alot like what i was used to from other jrpgs.
Summary: I haven't finished this game yet. My thoughts thus far: -Beautiful, colorful landscapes -Interesting battle system, but it can be difficult to control targeting -Even the Japanese voices are annoying with the female characters. There's altogether too much shouting, male and female characters alike. Lymle's slooooooooooooooow mumbling is perhaps the most annoying. -Thankfully, the voices can be turned off in battle. I wish every game had this feature!

Summary: I know a lot of people give the voice actors flac for their acting, but honestly, I don't think it was that bad. I even teared up at the end of the game because I was so wrapped up in each characters storyline. This is a JRPG, so obviously expect 50+ hours to go into the main content only. But hey, I get my money worth of play out of the game!
Summary: I never played any of the Star Ocean games prior to owning a PS3. This one is a good port and sports some updated 720p graphics. The storyline is decent, and should be familiar to fans of the Final Fantasy series. I only have two big complaints about this game. One is that you can't pause during cutscenes. This wouldn't be a huge problem except that some of the cutscenes go on and on and on.
Summary: Star Ocean: The Last Hope International is a worthy addition to the Star Ocean series. This is the 4th main game in the series, and is in fact a prequel to the rest of the games. Don't feel as if you have to play the 3 games before it to understand the story though. That being said, if you are a fan of the series, there is a ton of great references to the older games, namely Star Ocean 1 (First Departure).
Summary: I bought this product because I have played Star Ocean 3 before and thought this would be a great RPG to play since I was in the mood for something decent after my disappointment with FFXIII. I like the battle system in this game and the anime-like art, but the story and characterization feels bland and cheesy. The character Lymle's voice acting bothers me be a lot.
Summary: I like games we're you start off at a low level and you work up on that and get stronger. This game is one example of my explanation. You get to go around different worlds and fight off monsters and level up and get more stronger level. And of course learn different abilities. I give this game a 5 stars.
Summary: I LOVE Star Ocean and before playing this one, Till the End of Time was my favorite. This one stole the first place. I lent it to one of my best friends and she's so hooked that I have no idea when she'll return it.
