Summary: This is a very disappointing game. Personally, I always liked SSX: On Tour because it brought an open world element to SSX while keeping the other kinds of events. SSX is a completely closed world.
Summary: Ok first of all i would like to say that i have respected SSX over the years. I had even played the demo of this game prior to purchasing it, but i'm sorry to say that this game was very disappointing for me... why?
Summary: (8 MONTHS LATER UPDATE) What was EA thinking when they released this game. I've played it intensely for about 7 months now. (And I'm pretty wicked at it). The previous games were so much more fun, as a boarding game shoud be.
Summary: This game was so promising! They had: -Same awesome group of characters from the legendary SSX Tricky -Incredible updated graphics -Same crazy tricks with a bunch of new ones But then they did the worst thing yet. Put you on somewhat normal tracks all around the world.
Summary: I was really excited for this game, but then I started getting tired at one point. I don't like the fact that there is -no multiplayer mode offline -Half of the "Survive It" Events are nearly impossible to complete -feel barely in control of the board it turns to the point where I get frustrated.
Summary: A boring, joke of a snowboarding game. The graphics and gameplay are allright, my problem with the game is that it is just SSSSOOOO fake. I cant seem to like the not real not fun and not a good games.
Summary: I bought a pre-owned copy two weeks after it was released...i now realise why the previous owner got rid of it ! The courses are just too hard, and the rewind facility is so slow that "racing" is absolutely pointless. Where is the FUN that made Tricky so memorable ??
Summary: I think most of the other reviewers have hit the nail on the head so I'm not going to labour the point. I can only say I wish I'd listened, insanely frustrating, not fun to play, when you finish a level its a relief not enjoyable or rewarding. Please don't waste your money.
Summary: First of all I hate the maps, I do appreciate how much work has been put into them in the actual development and they're probably a little more real to life than the previous SSX games, however they are meant to be ride-able and that's where the level design loses my vote.
