Summary: Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is indeed a fun open world action game where you can play as the famous web swinger. It released in 2007 or 2008 so that means there's no trophies for it. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a try.
Summary: This could have been good. Coulda been. The gameplay, graphics and presentation (especially in the begining) are great. The action and(surprisingly) drama are intense. The fighting uses the web zip attacks and it is actually quite useful and becomes the main entree in a supper of action.
Summary: The best thing to do in this game is by far the swinging around. It's fluid, responsive and looks good, animations are top notch. There's more moves to pull of such as wall running, crawling sliding etc it's all good... That is until the glitches kick in, and completely ruin the experience.
Summary: Pros: fun gameplay, city is huge, web-swinging is fun, good story. Cons: not exactly deep, repetitive combat, running is too sharp, city is boring, bad graphics, weak cutscenes. OVERALL: enjoyable in parts but once you finish the game you have to start a new file.
Summary: This game has great fighting mechanics. They may appear to be a little jumpy, but then again, Spidey's lightning quick. It may take a few playthroughs to figure out which upgrades suit you best.
Summary: The good is that thisgame has a Spider-man that is the most fluid in combat that I've ever seen. The bad is that it takes awhile to get there because you have to be taught by Luke Cage (I know, very stupid) to unlock your powers.
Summary: Spider-Man 3 was at best a second fiddle to Spider-Man 2, so now comes Spider-Man: Web of Shadows to give Spidey games the boost they needed with gamers everywhere. Despite a couple of professional reviews giving this game rather low scores (ahem:IGN.COM), this game deserves the praise it has...
