Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Playstation Illustrated
28 November 2010
  • Excerpt: Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is beautiful on the PS3. The cel-shading gives it an appropriate cartoon feel, while the dialogue of our web-headed friend is dead on, with lines such as my favorite, "This neighborhood isn't going to friendly itself." The dialogue is well done, from classic Spidey banter to the voices of various baddies and Madame Web.

The Gamers Temple
12 November 2010
  • Excerpt: Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions opens with the web-slinger attempting to stop Mysterio from stealing an ancient artifact known as the Tablet of Order and Chaos from the Empire State University Museum. Things don't quite go according to plan for either party, and the artifact is shattered in the process and its pieces fall into parallel universes.

Spider-man Shattered Dimensions

  • Excerpt: Spider-Man, as so many other comic characters had has his fare share of hits and misses. When developers introduced free roaming, it was a spectacular addition. When developers went ahead and introduced a story line not based on a movie and more like one of our webbed wonders comics, it was amazing. Keeping with the original story line and bringing it up several notches developers Beenox brings one of Spider-Man’s best adventures yet to the gaming world.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

GamePro.com
7 September 2010
  • Excerpt: While Spider-Man is a comic book icon and a successful movie star, his track record as a video game hero isn't nearly as good, with his games ranging from the awesome and to the just plain awful. Thankfully, his latest adventure, Shattered Dimensions, is one of his best yet, offering four unique worlds, classic Spidey action, and an engaging story that puts it near the top of the franchise both in terms of quality and impact.
  • Pros: Excellent art design, decent camera, top-notch voice acting, and plenty of cool unlockable content. Colorful, unique levels and boss encounters really make the gameplay both engaging and memorable. In particular, the 1930’s Noir universe looks and sounds amazing.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review

GamingTrend
16 September 2010
  • Excerpt: I remember watching reruns of the original Spider-Man cartoon on weekends growing up. While the animation was pedestrian and some of the animations were looped, Spider-Man had a sarcastic tone while fighting against the bad guys and always came out on top. The Spider-Man jingle from the original series is a part of Americana.  Spider-Man has gone through a few incarnations in the comics, television, and even on the big screen.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Stopgame
22 December 2010
  • Conclusion: Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
  • Cons:

Spider-Man: Dimensions

GameRadio.de
10 September 2010
