Spelunky

EL33TONLINE
22 October 2013
  • Excerpt: Spelunky, at first glance, made me wonder what on Earth I had got myself into but with the verve of a true gamer I decided to give it a go, and eight hours later, there I sat yelling insanely at backpack looting monkeys and shopkeepers and wondering if the next jump, which looks almost doable, is in...

Spelunky Review: the toughest platformer ever made?

PlayStation Universe
3 September 2013
  • Summary: Spelunky is a tough platformer that looks great and has depth and replayability with its clever use of randomized levels.
  • Pros: Random level generator massively increases playability., Levels are packed with so much to see, do and collect., Gorgeous cartoony graphics - dying never looked so good.
  • Cons: Only a few mundane trophies., Deathmatch mode and arenas need more work.

Spelunky

Destructoid
2 September 2013
  • Summary: Derek Yu's Spelunky made a name for itself as a freeware release years ago. Adapting concepts from roguelikes such as randomized levels and permanent death (lots and lots of permanent death), it uses a familiar 2D platformer base to offer gameplay that is both intrinsically enjoyable and always...

Análisis Spelunky (ps3)

Mundogamers
9 November 2013

  • Conclusion: Ich hasse und liebe Spelunky.
