Summary: Kudos, I suppose, for trying something different. But...lordee... I played the demo on regular difficulty but did the game on easy just to see the story. Incredibly poor controls. Constantly crouching when you want/need to move quickly. Often moved like through water. Push button for cover, he just stands there. Never felt for any of the characters or experienced what I think the creators wanted me to feel. Confusing story even before the copout ending.
Summary: Kind of a bizarre story line, but great graphics and lots of action. Game takes place in an environment that is rarely utilized...the hard-core Mid-Eastern desert. None of the characters are likable, but the story is intriguing and I found myself playing for the narrative rather than for my character. Worth the money, even though when you finish the game, you'll be wondering what went on and why.
Summary: I have played all the Call of Duty games but never heard of this game. I can't believe how much fun it was to play it. It's longer than expected, figured at the low price it would be short. Highly recommend to others looking for a shooter game.
Summary: Solid game.... very interesting twist at the end of it. Unfortunately no one plays live on this game, at least not anymore. Pros: Graphics are good Story line is interesting and keeps you interested in what will happen next Gameplay/Shooting/feel is good Get the chance to make some story line decisions Cons: No one interested in online play No 2 player campaign mode

Summary: Just in time for the 4th, I'd like to point out something that I just learned about 2012's underappreciated (Gamespot: 6.5) gem, Spec Ops: The Line. Still free on Plus right now, did you know this game is actually based on 67th out of 100 best novels in the English language of the twentieth century (according to the Modern Library) and is considered by scholars to be part of the most influential and important body of work in Western Culture?
Summary: bought it after a friend suggested it - very good, already recommended to my other friends. - the story is 11/10 !! - graphics are pretty ok 7/10 - the combat mechanism (!) - sometimes really frustrating 5/10 but in overall, the story is the essential thing that makes this one a very good game, or a "hidden gem" so to say. don't watch any youtube stuff, don't read anything about it: don't spoil the story line and the twists!!
Summary: I'm not going to lie, I wanted to be enthralled with this game. It was definitely worth playing and I like that you get to make decisions for yourself and your team. I might try and play it over to see if I can make different choices. There were some really hard parts that I would get frustrated with but I'm highly competitive so it only made me want to beat that part even more.
