Summary: After a bit longer than expected delivery SCiv finally arrived. Since it was the Japanese version it was more expensive than other regions, not sure why this is? Anyway, I have not got around to opening it yet, but I am sure everything is in order. I like Playasia alot, they are an exellent source of asian interest in general. Thanks again.
Summary: Liked: - Next generation graphics - Variety of custom parts - Original japanese voice with English menus and subtitles - Lots of replay value from the Tower challenges - Unique characters created by famous japanese artists ported over. Disliked: - Somewhat less features compared to its PS2 predecessor SCIII. I especially miss the rpg questing and some interactive scenes which I thought was a nice perk.
Summary: Soul Calibur is a new classic. Easy to play. Beginners use to love this game. Sometimes just smashing the buttons is enough to win a match (in normal game mode) and some people get ungry with that (it's not like some old fighting games that you have to practice for several hours in order to make a special move). I started playing soul calibur in its first apperance for the Sega Dreamcast.
