Great game for the family.
3 March 2012
Summary: I got this game so we could have something to play as a family. It was a great decision. We all love it. The muliplayer option makes it easier to play with each other rather than watching from the sidelines. There are a lot of race and toon/car options to choose from to make it a real challenge. Really worth what I paid for it.
Great Kart Racer for veteran Sega fans and newcomers!

Summary: All kart racers/action racing games are just an attempt to clone Mario Kart, right? Well, maybe. But its not fair that Mario gets to have an entire genre all to himself and his gang, and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing has something to say about it! Lets talk about the pros of this game! -Finally a game for the anti-mario elite! -Suoer smooth controls and physics -Wide selection of characters, many unlockable through "purchasing" with in-game currency.
Summary: SO I bought this game not long ago and I love it. It's very fun, you go into these Sega Themed Tracks that are very colorful, beautiful. This game is for the entire family, kids will love it and adults will enjoy it as well. Online game is fun too, but I need to get a little better before trying to play online again, I was kicked out of a couple of rooms probably because I wasn't good enough. If you don't have a Wii but enjoy Mario Kart this is for you.
Summary: I was pleasantly surprised with this game. I tried the demo and i wasn't impressed but i was disappointed either. The game is pretty much a copy of Mario-Kart. I bought because i went from being a Nintendo person to an Xbox person and i dearly miss Mario Kart. As a Mario Kart close is a pretty good one. The game play is a copy of Mario Kart. It has item that you throw or used.
Summary: Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (360/PS3/Wii) Oh Sonic, Sonic, Sonic... the tale of Sega's once mighty mascot is legendarily filled with face-palms, failure to adapt, and failure to listen to fan outcries (until very recently). In fact, the proverbial blue hedgehog's downfall over the past ten or so years is not entirely unlike watching your once favorite child star spiral into addictions and reality shows.
Summary: "...but the hedgehog’s emulation actually executes parts of the kart racing formula better."" True, true words. Listen, all you need to know is that Sumo Digital NAILED this game. The racing model handles great; it feels different from Mario Kart, but it makes sense in it's own way (it's not a Dante's Inferno/God of War situation here). With the solid racing model nailed down, they then went about aping Mario Kart at it's best.
Summary: We had this on the Wii but unfortunately the console broke, so i bought this again (used) for the PS3. Well, the game is the same (same gameplay, same commentary, same music and so on), but the graphics are *way* better. I know, PS3 is more powerful than the Wii, but having tried this on both, it shows it. Regarding the game itself, my son (4 years old) really loves to play it with me.
Summary: This is a really fun multilayer game. If you have mates to play with then it is the best carting game on the PS3. The cars handle really well, the weapons and powers are fun and the courses are mostly well designed. However, the AI is not all that great and so as a single-player game all but the youngest of players will exhaust it quickly.
