Summary: Just wanna let u guys kno that this game is only for ONLINE. Dont buy this game if u dont have internet for ur ps3, I messed up buying it, I cant even try the game, But if u have online its prolly fun, Just wana let anyone who buys it in the future that its only a ONLINE GAME.
Summary: I have all the other socom games and really enjoyed playing the game itself than going online to play against others. I did not realize that this game was only online. I wished it was like the older the games where it had both. Oh well I will still enjoy going online and battling it out with other socom fans.
Summary: The main thing to know about SOCOM for PS3 is that it is multiplayer only. There is no single player campaign like in previous outtings of the franchise of the past. This is probably the main reason for the low price point, compared to other games on the PS3. The game centers around the idea of creating 2 customized characters; a Navy SEAL and a "mercenary".
Summary: SOCOM is a very real game, just thinking about all other online buddies. Graphics are good, but controls are not quite as good as COD, which requieres you to shoot without aiming when the opponent is very close, like in a real environment. There is not too much space to learn, people always wants to win and they are switching between teams. The game requires a lot of practice, over the time I hope to get it.
Summary: I bought this game when it was released and it was buggier than a summer BBQ. They released this game way to early. The graphics are ok but when you think about it that this game is online only and doesn't have that many maps you would expect the graphics to be way better than this. The box of the game has many promises which you will not find in he game like Trophies (unless patched by the time you read this).
Summary: I'm going to keep this review simple. If you want a really accurate viewpoint of this game just check out Scott Robert Ganz's review. He pretty much nailed it IMO. One thing I have to comment on though is the fact that the online community for SOCOM is one of the worst I have seen. I really don't know why they included a headset. Nobody uses it except to badmouth the other players on their own team!

Summary: THE GAME I'll start by saying that this review will NOT be about SOCOM's various technical snafus. I've played the game through several revisions and I've had a fairly smooth ride from a technical standpoint. I'm going to review this game as though it runs perfectly, since I assume Slant Six will have it patched to that point in the very near future. Instead, I want to discuss SOCOM: Confrontation as a game.
