Excellent game - Works with Series 3 Portal

Summary: Good news! This game works with the Swap Force Portal. However, you cannot use Series 2 (Giants) or Series 3 (Swap Force) characters with it. It just doesn't recognize them. Not a problem. After finishing Swap Force wanted to go back and try the others. It is not a good as Swap Force. Graphics and game play leave some to be desired. The series did evolve. By Swap Force it appears they got everything superior. For example in Spyro there is no jump button.
Summary: Skylanders is a series that's been running for three years -- almost four now! -- and it is just amazing. "Spyro's Adventure," the game that started it all, does have it's flukes, but is an overall great play. Lots of levels, an interesting villain (which is something many games lack) and great family fun. Many people complain about how expensive the characters are and how you need all 32 to beat it, but that's where they're wrong.
Summary: If you have children particularly boys you are most likely familiar with Skylander's. I recently found out this game came out before Skylander Giants and a lot of the skylanders we owned were compatible with this game. It's fun, a good game to add to your collection.
Summary: An interactive game allowing the user to choose his/her character in the adventure that begins. The character is a figurine that is placed on a portal, the character is then transported to the TV screen via the playstation 3. Collecting the characters can be expensive.
Summary: To begin with, my kid loves this game. He plays this all the time. He even connects the portal to his laptop and plays the online version when the Playstation is unavailable (due to dad playing his games). But, the only reason for the one star detraction is based on the fact that more emphasis needs to be placed on versions of games.
Summary: We have a great time playing this game. It gets pricey, due to the fact you have to buy each character separately. It's also a pretty short game. We spent more money then we should have on this game overall, but we had great times playing it.
