Good game, high expense for a non multiplayer game.

Summary: Is fun to play and for ages 6-14 is a great game. Once you get all the figures you need it is kind of a high expense for a game that does not has a multiplayer option. Graphics are good, story, variety of challenges are decent. Get it used, don't put too much cash on this.
great game for young kids but expensive for parents.

Summary: (Although this is a fun game.) Parents, be aware that it is expensive compared to other video games. The price of the game is comparable at $57 but you need at least 8 characters to get into all the rooms. Each sells for about $10. Making it a $140+ game. And you can't even get one set for several kids to share since each character has it's own memory making it necessary to buy each child their own set.
Summary: Unfortunely the light pad was broken and did not read character so we had to request a new one from the company itself - and it took 3 weeks to get a new one from the manufacture itself. But we are otherwise happy with our purchase.
Game is great except for wireless connectivity issues.

Summary: We love the game play and the ability to play with other users by cross platform. Characters and different abilities are awesome. Have not tried online gameplay as we just dont need to go there . Only issue was with wireless hook-up for portal pad didn't work.
Summary: First of all, I was very much excited about this game...especially buying the characters. They are only expensive if you try to order them. ($8 at walmart) Upon beginning the game, the intro movie bothered me a bit...even using the words "and now we have come to your planet so you can buy us." Upon playing the game once, I decided I wanted the "hex" character. I tried not to play it until I had it...and yet the stores were ALWAYS out..(as everyone else has said.
