Excerpt: We could not use it. We installed it. The disk coming out of the packaging was covered in scratches all over. We thought it was very strange. We put it in and the game was stuck, did not work at all. We purchased this on Tuesday, November 26th and gave it to my son as a gift on the last night of Chanukah the other evening. We are planning to return it today for a replacement.

Excerpt: I pre-ordered giants last Sept 15 and received it 9 days after the release date. I was expecting to get one legendary trigger happy and blue bash as a bonus item for pre-ordering but instead they gave me two legendary trigger happy. I called today and They told me that they don't have the blue bash anymore but i pre-ordered it right that day when they have that promotion. So, what's the catch?

Summary: It may be that the the whole point of this game is collecting figurines and cards and that the PS3 game is just an additional 'nice to have'. If this is your take on it then stop reading this review. My kids approached the purchase from the game angle as they were introduced to it by one of their friends. The game itself is fine but, in order to be able to progress, you need to keep buying the figurines (there are about 45 of them) at around a tenner each.
