Summary: The gameplay is just as fun as Skate 2 in most ways, except for the lack of local multiplayer. Also, manuals are a lot easier now, which can be either good or bad, depending on how you feel about that.
Summary: Bought this game finally as I heard much about it and it was cheap and I longed to play a skating game like I used to play back in the Tony Hawk golden age. It's pretty fun I like it and my 9yr old daughter played it even much more than I did the weekend I got it and she absolutely loves it. Only dinged it a star because it's kinda frustrating but the Tony Hawk games were the same way lol, it's part of the experience I guess.
Summary: this game is what's up. ea skate & skate 2 were both dope & this is no different. if you're a beginner, there's enough gameplay to keep you interested while you learn the ropes, and soon, you'll be free skating for hours
Summary: Most of the improvements in Skate 3 are done to areas commonly overlooked but when done well, make the game that much better. For Skate 3, this means HUGE improvements over Skate 2 in terms of bails. Now there is an entire string of challenges where the objective is to do certain styles of bails, get a certain amount of points, and hit certain objects.
Summary: This is a awesome game. If you love skateboarding, RPGs, or action game, this is for you. The graphics are good. The different tricks you can do is awesome. If you have played skate 1 or 2, this will be a little different. You are already a pro skater. This game is more focused on growing a skateboard company, and this is measured by board sales. Every time you win a contest, do a skateboarding video or magazine cover, and anything else, you get more board sales.
Summary: Okay, I was REALLY into Tony Hawk Pro Skater... up until THPS 4. Then... no. Except Underground 2 for PSP. Well, those games are more of an arcade style, and this is definitely more of a realistic... not simulator, but well, maybe. It sure isn't an arcade style. I love this game. Its really fun, even if the abilities of the skater are limited compared to in THPS.
Summary: Great game, especially to play online with friends. You can upload videos to YouTube straight from the game, and has many different options for your character. I'm keeping this short and sweet-GET IT!
