Summary: I'm going to be honest, I spend a lot of time playing this game. I usually fire up my playstation 3 and pop this game in; I play for at least 30 or 40 minutes. I like this game but in a certain sense I kind of want to stop playing it. Skate 3 has several things it does right; such as, the control system, incredible graphics, and a quick learning curve for basic skateboarding maneuvers.
Summary: Don't get me wrong, its A good game. But it gets boring after awhile...Its fun at first, but after you play it for like 3 days - 1 week, it feels like ehhh... you may feel like you wanna play any other game besides this. But thats just me. This game is very realistic and fun. But I also still like to play THPS4, that game i would recommend too.
Summary: Title says it all. Skate 1 was amazing, it was the first skate game of it's kind and that was amazing. Sure it didn't have hall of meat but that's not what it's about. I was always excited to get the Skate games as they came out, but that soon started to change. I was hooked on the first Skate when it came out, that used to be the only game I played. The challenges were good, the controls were amazing, and the locations were awesome.
Summary: Great game, the analogue to do tricks is so much better than code combinations, however they dont have those Tony Hawk games like Grafiti and slap. They have more technical ones based more on your skill. Great game though.
Summary: Don't Know about Skate and Skate 2 but this is definitely one of the best skateboarding games, I use to think Tony Hawk games were better just cause I was use too it, but this is 10x better. Can get boring sometimes though and can lag a lot online.
Summary: The game was good and my son enjoyed playing it, but the code that allowed my son to go on line with his mates didn't work which was very disappointing. I wrote to the seller to try to find out why the code didn't work but I had no reply.
Summary: I really loved Skate. and Skate 2, so I thought I'd enjoy Skate 3 as well. Unfortunately it hasn't been as much fun as expected... very quickly EA has turned this game into a big franchise. Even though very different to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, this game is still slowly losing it's catch. Even the realism is drifting away.
