Summary: I'm not a skateboarder and I never was but this game made me want to try. It has great graphics and it all looks so real. The characters are all famous skateboarders so they add more realism to the game. The missions they send you on are fun for a little but can get pretty boring.
Summary: Skate 2 improves on all of the great controls of the original. Unfortunately is worse in terms of story and open world. Both lack the depth of the original. While the original had a satisfying conclusion of winning the XGAMES this one doesn't have anything as fun.
Summary: Repetitive, Frustrating, Trial and Error. If you like skating, then its the game for you, but for those who have no interest of the sport, give it a rent. 7.1/10. Graphics are alright, skate back in '06 was great, while skate 2 feels almost identical.
Summary: Skate re-defined a genre of games in dire need of re-definition. While the most popular series out there was busy running out of good ideas, EA put out a game that ramped up the realism, with one of the most genius control schemes I've ever seen in a game, and somehow made skating for its own sake...
Summary: FIrst thing i must say is that i LOVE the gameplay. I haven't spoken to anyone who agrees with me on that point but if you want to create those moments you see on youtube which skaters do, this is perfect.
