Summary: I have had this game since December, and still haven't been able to beat it, I love skate and skate 3, but they made skate 1 and 2 too hard. I enjoy playing skate 3 now though it alot better and the controls are easier.
Summary: I used to play Tony Hawk games back in the day and had tons of fun. Recently I decided to branch out back into the skateboard genre with Skate 2. I didn't really enjoy this game and never finished it. It was slightly fun for a little bit, but the controls are a little difficult to grasp for me.
Summary: Tony Hawk 2 was the best ever. on this game however.. the tricks are way too hard.. and earning cash is way too hard.. then the open environment is not very skate friendly.. and if you bail out.. theres not enough blood.. i fell from a 10 story parking lot.. there should be at least a little blood.
Summary: Disappointment. This game is bad in just about every sense of gameplay aesthetics. Wonky controls, horrible camera, shotty frame-rate, horrible level design, poor online modes, and the fact that the game just does not work.
Summary: I don't skate at all in real life, never have and never will. This didn't stop me from enjoying the old Tony Hawks games on PS2. Looking for something similar for the PS3 I found this was the only credible skating game available.
Conclusion: Like all EA games, EA have gone and taken the same product and re-wrapped it in a different packaging to make a quick buck of us costumers. To be brief, the map is more or less the same then Skate 1 and it is disappointing for all of those who have played Skate 1 thoroughly.
