Summary: With most games in the genre making the shift towards action horror, Siren: Blood Curse instead retains what made survival horror so appealing in the first place. It would have been easy for them to appease the action/shooter fanbase, and cash in like so many others have. Thankfully, the often under appreciated Siren franchise does not sellout.
Summary: I have found there to be a distinct lack of Japanese-style horror games released on the PS3 that have really grabbed my attention. I didn't particularly think much of Resident Evil 5 and, from what I had heard, Silent Hill hadn't been able to capture the spirit of its second incarnation effectively since, well, the release of Silent Hill 2.
Summary: With instant action in a series from the tv sort of way, this is varied full of character and fun. The game recaps like a series from the tv, shows what your going to do next time!!! Its all a little weird but intrestingly compelling. You play as various characters each with different attributes. Your able to tap into the "ghosts" vision and see what they see while still playing.
Summary: Siren Blood Curse - BDR (PS3) Deep, engaging, atmospheric. A very Japanese survival horror ~ First of all, if you're a familiar with previous Siren games you're in for a treat ! More of a remix in my opinion rather than a remake of the first game, fans will be right at home with the setting and controls and very pleased with the new characters and unravelling story with plenty of mystery and suprise.
Conclusion: Im not normally a horror fan. I had visited the Siren Blood Curse space in Playstation Home and just had to buy the game. It is scary, it is confusing, it is tough but my god it's good! Some of the spaces you are placed in are like mazes so its not as simple and straight forward as you would think. But you wouldn't be stood there thinking 'ok now what?' there is a map and there are goals and subgoals which are pin pointed on the map.
Conclusion: I have read a number of reviews on this game and most are comparing it to the Resident Evil series. This game is far from it as Resident Evil has been led astray from the survivor horror genre and is now more of an action based experience. Siren Blood Curse is a true survivor horror game whereby lack of guns and the sense of not knowing where to go prevail.
Conclusion: This is put tograther very well its like watching a serious plus playing a game just love the way they recap the last game play at the start of the next leval the graphics are good and is a bit like playing residant evil but the controlls are not as easy to use the viewing is a little hard at times and could of been better and the game play is a bit all over the place but dont get me wrong this is a great game and is worth a shot cause once you get into it its really...
Conclusion: As a fan of Japanese survival horrors a game promising a similar heart-thumping experience was always going to appeal to me. Overall the graphics are good, the storyline is compelling, the characters are varied and engaging and of course the whole package is seriously unsettling at times.
Conclusion: I've just finished this game and i have to say i loved it all. Ok so the controls are a little off and the game is quite dark but that just adds to the whole atmosphere in my opinion. To be people that say the game is confusing: Welcome to the world of Siren!!! If you've ever played Forbidden Siren & Forbidden Siren 2 then you'll feel right at home. The fact that it's played via episodes is great.
