not karaoke

donkeybutt, Amazon
24 July 2013
  • Summary: The songs include the vocal track so you just sing over the original performance, which is just annoying. It's like being in the car with someone who sings along to the radio and there seems to be a slight delay between your mic and the speakers so you got to get ahead of it to avoid being a bad echo. It makes you feel rushed. Karaoke plays the music tracks with your vocals only so don't mix this game up with that.

HATE IT All together.

Theresa Sanchez, Amazon
6 April 2013
  • Summary: I has been a while since we used this SingStar game. I can tell you, not my husband, sister, nephew or his wife, or I liked it. Not even the two singing kids, (one who live with us, and one who comes to visit a lot), liked it either. We used it maybe twice and then gave it away. The person we gave it to didn't like it either. Waste of money and time. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

  • Summary: The cabling on these mics is so cheap that I have a short in one of them after modest and careful use.

Don't recommend

  • Summary: still cant find a way to phase out completely the original artist. So basically you are just singing alongside them. I find this really pointless!

Nice mics, shame about the game

C. Mulliner, amazon.co.uk
18 May 2012
  • Summary: The microphones are great - they work fine, have a nice solid feel to them without being too heavy, and batteries are included which is nice. Sadly the downloadable content just doesn't work properly. The game downloaded ok, and selecting songs in the store is a bit fiddly but not too bad - they have plenty to choose from.

Dissapointed - again

Mattymonkey, amazon.co.uk
4 November 2008
  • Summary: I think the Singtar game is great, the reason for 1 star is that the tracks on the new discs are not made available for download. I understand that a lot of people don't have their PS3 online, but I dont want to have to buy another disc with half the songs I dont want and to swap the discs all the time. All I want is the choice that was promised with the release of the first disc.
