Summary: As a child of the 80s, as much as I love Motown, I don't know the artists/songs as well as I'd like to. If you're like me, don't let that put you off. As ever, Singstar's selection of songs are fun and accessible. You will recognise most (if not all) of the songs once they start, even if you don't know them by their titles... Really fun, although the songs are pretty hard to sing well!
Summary: I am a massive fan of Singstar and also like Motown music, but I think you would have to really know the songs well and be quite a good singer to get anything out of this game. I've got the original ps3 singstar and vol 3 plus about 30 downloaded songs. To be honest the Mowtown version has only come out of the cuboard a handful of times since I bought it. Not bad, just not for me - despite being a fan of mowtown.
Summary: I bought this game for my wife because the range of songs on the other Singstar games is sometimes a little too modern and varied for the older taste. This selection is definitely aimed at the older music fan and will probably appeal only to Motown fans. There were only four songs out of fourteen that I wasn't familiar with which is a pretty good hit rate.
Conclusion: If you like sing star and you like motown then you will love this, only got it a few days ago and already love it, sing star parties on the ps3 just got better! Ok it dose miss out a few classics motown songs but I cant knock a star off because it tells you the track list on the box. So top marks from me and like I said if you like sing star and you like motown then you will love this.
