Summary: No! You just can't decently mix all that makes good adventures to create a fresh new one. But unfortunatly Double Helix did that for their SH Homecoming. The result of this? An untasty adventure guided by soulless protagonists, a nurse here a Pyramid Head there without any explanation.
Summary: ive been playing the Silent Hill series since original PS. those had atmosphere and built up tension/suspense all this one seemed to do is quick make u jump antics and then lots of boredom trying to simply find your way around. Hopefully the next one will be better ;)
Pros: excellent graphics and soundtrack, controls seem a little better. would have given higher marks but thats all it seems to have goin for it atm.
Cons: easy to beat>_> beat it in a few hours on the first day of owning it. severe lack of weapons. game atmosphere is nothing compared to previous Silent Hills in series. Controls r sluggish considering runnin six axis full digital controller >_>
Summary: This game is creepy and scary but too frustrating.. Why does it take forever to get to point a to point b? There is no "run" button. The graphics are dated looking. The controls are kind of clunky. The combat could be way better. Very stale game, in my opinion.
Summary: In Homecoming you can really see the struggle to bridge the gap between the PS2 and the PS3's capabilities. In a bid to throw back to the earlier Silent Hill games, the designers put a heavy emphasis on fog, which leaves the player sort of just wandering aimlessly without any landmarks or even...
Summary: This game was very irritating. The boss fights are unimaginative and repetitive. All the voice acting is sub-par and the character animations are not pleasing to the eye. I picked it up for less then 20 bucks, and am still displeased. The game is much harder then in needs to be.
For a franchise that has been around for a while it was just a matter of time for some one to ruin it

Summary: The graphics and sound are great and that's about it , the first annoyance is the lighting in this game, the flashlight is not bright enough, you would think that in a game like this it would contribute to the scary factor but it doesn't , the second annoyance is the enemies, they are more difficult...
Summary: Let me start off saying that I have played the other Silent Hill games on PS2 and PSP. I was very much looking forward to this one. The game has great graphics, awesome sound, the atmosphere is definetively Silent Hill. I got hooked by the graphics and could not get enough of the storyline.
SHHC does a lot of things right, but fails in the most important parts.

Summary: I'm big silent hill fan, so naturally, I went out and bought this game. The developers stayed true to the style and look of past silent hill games, which is great. The graphics were up to standards with the series as well. Actually, just about everything was except for the gameplay.
