Summary: This game not only has terrible graphics, but the combat system and AI is crap. You will get glitched in a corner and anything over 2-3 enemies will usually end in your death. Simply a frustrating POS meant to resemble the original games.
Summary: As a fan of Silent Hill since the beginning, believe me when I say that this title undoes everything that made the series unique and enjoyable. The strong points of the series have always been atmosphere, design, and sheer compelling mystery. Homecoming fails on all of these points.
Summary: This game is beyond frustrating. Bad game mechanics, a game breaking glitch, and overall just a bad experience. The story line is okay, but if you've played previous SH games than you realize how poor this game is story wise.
Horrifyingly frustrating addition to the Silent Hill catalogue

Summary: My love of the first two Silent Hill titles has always kept me playing the progressively weaker additions to the series. Knowing full well this wasn't Team Silent I gave Homecoming a fair chance. There are some neat additions to the gameplay.
Summary: I really wanted to like this game. The scenery, the music, it's all very atmospheric and very creepy. I like that. The gameplay, well that's another story. The save points are few and far between and the ammo and health power-ups are rare, which makes for a punishing and ultimately frustrating...
Conclusion: If you use inverted controls do not buy this game. There is only the ability to invert the aim and not the camera, so when you are running around you constantly find yourself looking at the ceiling or floor!
Thought 'The Room' was as bad as it got? Think again.

Summary: I think we can all agree just what a travesty Silent Hill 4 The Room was at this point, and honestly I can't be bothered going into the many reasons why yet again, but hey, it was all uphill from there right? Wrong.
