Summary: This is not a Silent Hill game. This is a piece of poop! I can't even play it because the combat is so hard. Maybe it is because I'm bad at complex combat or whatever. But I have seen Gameplays of this stupid game, and I am not the only one struggling with it.
Summary: This review is I am sure, a bit biased. If you are looking for the Silent Hill experience, this is not it. It is not a terrible game overall, but it is very lacking. Homecoming has its scary moments, but they are usually completely overshadowed by the game's persistent shortcomings.
Summary: The game is great and a cool suspense movie type story with great bad guys, lets just say, your first time around playing the game you will die A LOT especially when you get to meet one of the types of bad guys called "The Needlers" they are crazy hard to kill till you figure out how to deal with...
Very solid entry in the series despite the flack it gets.

Summary: A lot of people gave this game flack but I personally think it's the best next-gen (next-gen at the time, that is) Silent Hill game. It has a good plot, great monsters, plenty of weapons, another great soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka, and terrifying boss fights.
Summary: I enjoyed this game as I have most Silent Hill games being a big fan. However as I said with my review on Silent Hill 4: The Room, they gave me that face palming time of putting an irritating sound effect in one of the levels.
Summary: Great game and I love it so much. However, there are a few things players should be warned about. 1) There are no achievements for the PS3 version of this game unlike the Xbox version. If you don't care about them, then you don't need to worry about it. 2) The costumes suck.
