Summary: So I'm a major die-hard Silent Hill fan, as many of you guys are as well. Anyone who has looked into the HD Collection knows that this game has had some...shall we say harsh reviews. When I first discovered this Remaster I was so excited to buy it as soon as I saw it, but before I did I researched it and came to find that it was notoriously a broken piece of trash. This crushed my heart, as it did so many others.
The game is a classic even in the HD collection. Judge for yourself.

Summary: PLEASE NOTE: I bought this game 2 years after it came out. I don't care to purchase games when they first come out. Anyway... First and foremost: I am so glad Konami made this available for the newer consoles. Saving this most classic game from being lost amongst the nexus of "Old Game Obscurity" in the event Playstation 2 consoles become "non-existent" (or you're like me and your PS2 Disc is dying and I was NOT about to buy "SH: Homecoming" for my SH fix).
Summary: I played the originals on the first X-Box, and not only do these games represent the horror I experienced, they take it to the next level. Any reviewer who says otherwise never got the chance to complete these masterpieces on a picturetube television. This remastersed version isn't even the same game. You won't even realize the breathtaking audicity of this re-realized vision until you aquire the flashlight and say Holy $#!1 this is scary!
Summary: I'm a die hard silent hill fan since the very first on ps1 and when I heard yet remade silent hill 2 and 3 I had to have it sh2 is one of my favorite games and it looks amazing on the ps3 I couldn't be happier to re play a classic horror game.
Summary: Silent Hill,. What can anyone say the Silent hill series is a great haunting series that many enjoy, and another close genre to the resident evil series. fans of Both i dare say enjoy them all.
Summary: The "Silent Hill HD Collection" brings back the two games in the "Silent Hill" series that helped define the series as a whole-- in glorious High Definition. The first "Silent Hill" game on the PSone was released 1999, and just two years later, something extremely rare happened-- a sequel was released that was far superior to its predecessor not only in graphics, but story.
Summary: I have played Silent Hill 2,3, on HD collection, and 4 on XBOX. This HD collection is simply awesome. There are so many complaints about the visuals and voices on the HDversion. I will give my opinion from someone that didn't play the originals except SH4 but that's not on the collection anyhow. When I loaded the game it updated new data and patches for a while. First the framerate issues - none at all (need I say more)?
Amazing, a must have for all survival horror fans!

Summary: This collection is simply awesome! it has everything from the origional games, aside from the new voiceovers in silent hill 3. I enjoyed the new voice overs in 3 and 2 very much, although i still own the original ps2 titles ofcourse, lol! I just hope they release and hd collection for origins, the room and shattered memories. lets cros our fingers for those those!
Summary: Silent Hill has garnered a massive fanbase from lovers of Survival Horror games, and with good reason. The games are extremely dark and atmospheric, with lots of fog and very little light to get by with. Strange creatures and bumps in the night can be heard constantly, no matter where you are. Every moment is fraught with tension.
