Summary: Silent Hill 2 and 3 were the greatest games of the series. So what did Tomm Hulett, associate producer for Konami do with them? He put them in a collection, of course. But what exactly is missing here? Well, they're both beta game versions since Konami lost the originals, and are plagued with bugs. Silent Hill 1 and 4 are absent as well. Even if people didn't like Silent Hill 4 that much, you would still need to include it in the collection be complete.
Summary: I've been a fan of Silent Hill since the first game on PS1 and like most other fans, I was a little nervous when I found out the rights were being sold to Konami America but I tried keeping an open mind. Downpour has been the best attempt so far though there were some technical issues that prevented it from being a 10. When I heard about the HD of 2&3 coming out, I was excited cuz those are the best in my opinion...however, after playing it...I'm VERY disappointed.
Summary: To start off I would like to say that Silent Hill 2 is my favorite game, so it saddens me to see how poor this collection presents these classics. I have played and beaten both games in this HD collection and encountered numerous issues. They both have lip syncing issues in pretty much every cutscene and both games stutter and slow down constantly.
These games deserved far better treatment than this.

Conclusion: Having read numerous reviews of this game collection online I will give my two cents worth... Firstly I have had the game a few days and have completed both titles. The first thing that springs to mind is the obvious probelm with the word"collection".A collection in game terms usually means a number of games or even trilogies like Prince of Persia or Jak and Daxter for example. Here we have merely Silent Hill 2 and three so I think this is false advertising from the get...
Summary: I had read reviews on how bad the game was in terms of graphics and the port job. Don't get me wrong like most other people who have reviewed and played on these games before it's a brilliant horror game. I used to play on it time and time again on PS2. But after I read reviews I decided to give it a go as it couldn't be as bad as people were saying right? Wrong.
Summary: It's playable but has several small problems: 1. Frame rate shifts between 30fps and 60fps 2. Gameplay stutters a lot (you'll notice this when running around town) 3. Fog is different from how it was in the original. Hard to describe but everything seems to pop in at a very exact distance, wheras in the original it was more like real fog...? Something like that anyway!
Summary: It's a shame i can't put as much effort into this review as the people who worked on the HD remastering of this collection. If i could it would be two words long... That'll do. Don't get me wrong, i can play games with minor issue with no problem, i have played games where people have been complaining on the internet and i've played the game and have barely even noticed them, or they were so minor they didn't effect my enjoyment of the game.
Summary: This is a real shame. I loved playing SH2 on the PS2 (SH3 less so - I'm not bothered about that too much). What has happened here is nothing short of a tradgedy and Konami should be ashamed to have their name on this title. Lets start at the beginning; the fog. What on earth happened to the fog effect? This looks like it's been done an an ancient Pentium 3 computer with a rubbish 16mb graphics card!
Summary: Esperaba una remasterización digna.
