Summary: Gameplay is solid aside from the fps drops now and then, most bugs and issues have been dealt with by now. New voices are a significant improvement, the old voice actors were nearly as bad as early resident evil games.
The game is a classic even in the HD collection. Judge for yourself.

Summary: PLEASE NOTE: I bought this game 2 years after it came out. I don't care to purchase games when they first come out. Anyway... First and foremost: I am so glad Konami made this available for the newer consoles.
Summary: It was a great idea to pack SH2 along SH3, the thing that made it a bad idea was to remaster it just for the cash, the SH2 bugs ruins the atmosphere of the game, and the SH3 new voice cast wasn't as good as the original to justify the purchase
This will be the most accurate up-to-date review you'll find on the Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3 Version).

Summary: This will be the most accurate review you find on the Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3 Version, with Update Patch, on Newest Version of PS3 Console). First of all, despite the technical issues this port suffers from, I will say this: IT IS WORTH PURCHASING JUST FOR THE SILENT HILL 2 HD PORT ALONE.
Summary: My first time playing through both of these survival-horror legends. A lot of the complaints you'll read on here about technical issues and whatnot have been fixed in the patch, and those review were written before it.
Summary: If you're like me, you probably got this game because you heard how great Silent Hill 2 is and wanted to give it a try, and if you're like me, you're probably walking away with a somewhat sour taste in your mouth.
Summary: Silent Hill has a special place in my heart. The first three titles in the series are three of the best horror games ever made. The scares are pure psychological horror at it's best, and the audio work is simply amazing.
