Freezes all the time
4 February 2014
Summary: It's a fun game, the tricks are cool, you can buy stuff for your character and here are fun challenges. But it freezes all the time, I can't even finish the game because it always freezes on a specific challenge forcing me to hard reset my ps3. Overall it's not worth 20 dollars. Maybe 5 at the most.
Shaun White Snowboarding - Carrot top on a snowboard
10 July 2010
Summary: Frustrating and sometimes dumb.. standing on a board and waiting for a good hill.. makes me very angry.. game lacks action and i feel that a 3 year old could have made a better game than this.. it is just awful.. Not worth my 5 bucks.. can anyone say Re Sell.
Summary: Having played snowboarding games for years and finally getting a PS3 this Christmas, I was really looking forward to this game. I figured, without an SSX game available, I was stuck with this but it couldn't be that bad, could it? Boy, was I wrong. Boring and bad all rolled into one. I gave it two stars as it is nice to look at. I can't for the life of me figure out why you just can't race or pull tricks -- even if you suck at it.
Summary: I was so pumped up to buy this game. The commercials and features made it seem like an amazing game. Sadly, I bought it without looking at the reviews from respectable sources. I know the other guy said don't listen to IGN and gamespot, but he was wrong. I really expected much more from this game. The last (and best) snowboarding game I played was Amped 3 for Xbox 360. This game was fun and engaging. Unlike Shaun White's, this game actually has a story.
Conclusion: im a big fan of snow boarding games but this was a let down for any kind of free style game be it skate boarding snow boarding etc you to good smooth controls good flow between the moves and it just doesnt delivier i hope they bring out a ssx game for the ps3 cause it badly needs one
