Shaun White Snowboarding - Carrot top on a snowboard
10 July 2010
Summary: Frustrating and sometimes dumb.. standing on a board and waiting for a good hill.. makes me very angry.. game lacks action and i feel that a 3 year old could have made a better game than this.. it is just awful.. Not worth my 5 bucks.. can anyone say Re Sell.
Summary: Shaun White Snowboarding is probably the most dissapointing game that I have ever bought. I went in thinking it would be just like tony hawk or skate but with snowboards and boy was I wrong. First you create you character which is probably the best part of the game. The options are endless and you can create your perfect boarder. The story line is mediocre having you search for coins on a hard to navigate mountain.
Summary: This game fell very short of its potential. We have not seen a breakthrough snowboarding game in some time and I know the genre fans were chomping at the bit. I have to give some credit to this game so this is where I tell where it performed well. The open mountain feel is GREAT for avid fans of the snowboard games. It lets you take a lift all the way, but with the option to skip it OR ... something we've always wanted to do - JUMP OFF MID RIDE!! Ok, that is cool.
Shaun White Snowboarding (PS3): Not quite what you expect
21 April 2010
Summary: I love snowboarding games. I grew up on coolboarders and then SSX. When I got a PS3 and saw this game I jumped on it but I was in fact a little disappointed. I think that for me the game is almost too realistic. I like the setting, there are just some huge mountains and you pick where you want to go and go any way down the mountain you like.
Pros: You can listen to your own music and have snowball fights with your friends
Cons: Too restrictive to be entertaining for a long time
Conclusion: im a big fan of snow boarding games but this was a let down for any kind of free style game be it skate boarding snow boarding etc you to good smooth controls good flow between the moves and it just doesnt delivier i hope they bring out a ssx game for the ps3 cause it badly needs one
