Conclusion: Concept: Let players run wild on entire mountains filled with runs and events to plunder for points, medals, money, and glory
Graphics: The game stutters occasionally, but it mostly runs smooth and has a crisp art style that pops
Sound: The soundtrack is about all you're going to care to hear
Playability: The speed tuck function would be better served if it wasn't on the left analog.
Conclusion: At the age of 22, Shaun White has a long time ahead of him to increase his infamy and notoriety so there’s bound to be time for his first video game franchise to grow into something beautiful. It’s yet to be known if Ubisoft is going to continue to pursue this series in the future or any other titles in the sports market, but we can only hope that they don’t give up after this lackluster snowboarding game.
Excerpt: Shaun White Snowboarding is the snowboarding equivalent of Skate , or at least it tries to be. Other times, it tries to bring something new to the extreme sports genre, namely a platformer-like collect-a-thon. Although the new elements show a conscious effort to create something new from the developers, they aren't able to pull it off. The absolute best part of Shaun White Snowboarding is the presentation.
