Summary: On thing I hate about this game are the vehicle controls which made it hard to drive without crashing into damn everything. You'll become very frustrated with the vehicle controls in any of the chase missions plus the aiming could've been better.
Summary: My girlfriend is a gamer and she only likes playing co-op campaign games. It is very hard to find good co-op campaign games now a days and it was nice to finally find one. I am not into the whole gangsta scenerio and in no way shape or form should any kid under the age of sixteen ever play this game, but for adults its tolerable.
Summary: Saints row 2 is nothing like gta, that doesnt mean its bad, but it does mean its different. If your used to gta, the controls will take time to get used to. The story isnt that special, SPOILERS its just a gang trying to conquer a big city. You can still steal cars, get guns, kill people. The one thing i hate the most about this game is the online multiplayer, its horrible. I have found many glitchers, and sometimes it can be laggy.
Summary: Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of open world games. However, I just didn't find SR2 to be exciting at all. The wierdest part is that I didn't like GTAIV and I did like the action that started off in SR2. But then is dragged and it dragged hard. Gameplay Let me say that the game play is really fun. I did enjoy the fighting mechanics. They are easy and really fit on the PS3 pad. Shooting was a bit of a hit and miss but enjoyable as well.
Summary: When people see Saints Row 2 they'll instantly think of Grand Theft Auto IV. It's inevitable. It moves similarly, the scenes have the same saturated lighting and there are several parallels that can be drawn between the gameplay of the two. Heck, the text is even color coded in a similar way for mission objectives. But, be warned, Saints Row 2 is most certainly not Grand Theft Auto.
