Summary: didnt get much of a chance to play with this guitar. as it didnt work with my ac/dc rockband game. i did play it with a few other games and if your looking for the real guitar feeling, your not going to find it, they did there best, and its pretty good, but way to complicated for someone that just wants to play, if your looking for a great guitar, the standard rock band guitar for about the same price is so much funner.
Summary: The game itself is as good as the previous editions, as well as those on other consoles. Simply put, this is the same thing as previous Rock Bands and Guitar Heroes with the addition of keyboards and pro instruments, a slightly improved interface (that doesn't come with flaws), and more music. However, the performance of the game is inexcusable. It will probably freeze at least once every single time you play it, especially if you visit the store to buy more music.
Summary: The seller warned me that the set was brand new but not in the original packaging. That was fine. But the auxiliary port for the blue cymbal does not work. It worked for one song then we noticed that the blue cymbal was not being recognized. We had our old set so tried the old blue cymbal, and it still didn't work. We had already used the set so just changed the setting to the blue drum instead of cymbal and it works fine, just is frustrating.
Summary: Only used the unit for awhile till my PS3 died and don't feel like buying another.. My friends who play RB guitar said it was over sensitive but worked well. Im guessing with practice it would be better..I cant comment on it because I never had a chance to get into it. Just 2nd hand testimonies from friends at my house.
Summary: I ordered what I thought was going to be the official guitar hero microphone. Instead, I got a 3rd party, Konami microphone. It works fine. But it's not what I was ordering. Seems a bit dishonest to advertise the product as "Rock Band/ Guitar hero Official Microphone" and then ship a 3rd party product.
Summary: The drums these are replacing are not quite 2 years old. The new ones are the same cheap plastic as they are. But, my grandson asked for a new set. What I don't understand is why the drums for the Playstation cost $200 more than the same ones for the Xbox? I should have just bought a $79 dollar Xbox from gamestop and the cheaper drum set. A little price gouging going on here?
Summary: Bought this as a graduation gift for my grandson. Shipped to me quickly using the free super saver shipping. The thing I didn't like was the way it was packaged. The Amazon box was OK, but the guitar box was torn open, with the end flap almost ripped off. I removed the contents and they were undamaged, but two of the plastic bags (containing the dongle and the guitar head) were ripped open and then knotted to close them, The other bag containing the strap was neatly...
From an already experienced guitar player, this guitar is hard to get used to...

Summary: The vast minority review I know as this guitar and the game is designed for complete beginners, but coming from somebody who has played guitar for 10 years, it's a very hard transition to get used to this controller and I'm sure the Strat is much better in this regard, but being so hard to find on reasonably priced these days, I had to settle for this. I bought this on a whim considering it's huge price drop since the drop of Rock Band 3... 40 bucks?
Great game but get a different version if possible

Summary: I'd recommend picking up a copy on a different version if possible for a few reasons. First, I've had the game randomly restart twice during game play in the first few days that I've owned the game. Second, I experienced hiccups here and there during songs. Third, the price for the ps3 version of this game is ridiculous. However, I do recommend this game for owners who only have a ps3.
