Works OK

Junebug05, Amazon
6 January 2014
  • Summary: Works OK with the Xbox360. Difficult to hear your voice. I read all of the other microphone reviews and this seemed to get the most positive reviews. Guess I am doomed to stick with it if this really is the best there is. Too bad.

I was very dissapointed

Noe, Amazon
13 May 2013
  • Summary: I didn't like this drum foot pedal at all since I had expected it to work like the description said. I thought as soon as I plugged it in and started to play that it would work like the original one. But no it didn't work properly. I know I plugged it in right I know its not hard. In the end I was very frustrated and decided to stop playing. I'd hate to stop playing RB but after that I don't think ill be playing any time soon. Wouldn't recommend this product.

Also disappointed

Eric, Amazon
29 December 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this dongle a while ago and have tried numerous times to get it to work on the Rock Band PS3 guitar. It has never worked. Will have to buy guitars with dongles since this was a bust.

Can't confirm, can't deny

Tal, Amazon
1 October 2012
  • Summary: Not working. Cannot either confirm nor deny that it's the dongle or my guitar not syncing up (both power on) since I don't have another dongle to test with, therefore I am leaving neutral feedback. Note: points lost for item listing accuracy. Item pictured is black, I received a white one.

Dongle doesn't work

jsunia, Amazon
29 January 2012
  • Summary: This did not work at all. The light on dongle just continues to blink and doesn't succesfully communicate with the guitar. Basically, I wasted money on this.

Major Disappointment

Chopper T., Amazon
22 November 2010
  • Summary: Let me start out by saying, I am a musician and I love Rock Band 2. Like most other actual musicians I know, I was skeptical at first. But once I picked up that plastic guitar and got the hang of it, I was hooked! Not only could I be an amazing lead guitarist in my fictional band, but a bass player and drummer too! So, I got some pals together and started a band. I actually formed six bands. Why not? I was brimming with ideas.

Just a caution...

Kodok Ijo, Amazon
15 November 2010
  • Summary: I just received this guitar... and it turns out it was packaged with generic brown cardboard... there's no rock band labelling at all... it looks like it was ripped from a rock band 2 bundle and was sold like that... It should work fine and everything... but just be cautioned!! (that's why I rate fun 5, overall 2) I bought this from Worldwide Distributor and fulfilled by Amazon... so beware...

Rickenbacker is PAINFUL to your strumming arm!

soupman "- soupman", Amazon
9 September 2009
  • Summary: I'm a huge Beatles, Lennon, and Rickenbacker fan. But this guitar is flat-out uncomfortable and painful to use in Rock Band. I'm talking about your strumming arm - the part of your forearm that contacts the edge of the guitar is just beat-up to no end while you're playing. There's no comfortable place to put your arm anywhere on the guitar while strumming.

Lack of keyboard friendly songs

Jenny, amazon.co.uk
6 January 2013
  • Summary: The only thing bringing my review way down on this, is the fact the game comes with very few songs you can actually use the keyboard to! Just seems like a way of trying to force us to buy more songs. Otherwise, no complaints.
