Summary: This game was brought to you by Piranha Bytes, makes of the Gothic series. Some of you out there will know what this review (and by extension, this game) will be like, but I will try to make a point.
Summary: Just started the game so I have just a few beginning things to say about the game. 1. The camera stinks on ice to use. 2. The game is fun and has a unique theme! 3. Things are kind of expensive at first but this can be improved as the game goes on. 4.
Summary: Maybe 3.5 stars. So I finished this game...finally. I enjoyed it more than the first which I never finished. It seemed like it had everything there for a good game but it was just boring after a while. I played on easy since I read that was a better option to enjoy the game with less frustration.
Summary: Risen 2 feels like it was sent out the door before it was completed. The in-game map has few details, the on screen compass is almost useless. You'll just learn the routes by memory long before you use it as any kind of direction finder.
Not stellar, but hardly the worst time-waster I've played

Summary: I stayed away from Risen 2 for some time, due to early reviews. However, with the Christmas break upon me, I decided to give it a try in Gamefly. And as it turns out, if you dismiss the fanboys and the haters, you get a pretty accurate review of this game.
Summary: Good: -Unique Pirate theme and tropical settings including beautiful beaches, treacherous jungles, creepy caves and voodoo temples. -Surprisingly good music that does a great job creating ambiance.
Summary: I initially played this on the PC when it was released, and once an un-official fan patch was released to sort out a bizarre issue with the games foliage shrinking , expanding and shrinking again as you walked past it, it became an engaing and fun game, with a very witty script.
