Summary: If you are looking for a game with a great story (greek mythology), memorable characters, and simple battle system, then this is for you. The graphics are not bad and the voice acting is just fine. It has some rpg elements like choosing your answers in conversations and choosing the skills you would like to invest in to improve your fighting. Over all this is a good game and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an action rpg.
Summary: If you enjoy any of the KOTORs, its very similar in the way the game i set up. It has great game play/ story but it was a fairly quick game that after playing it once, you might not choose to play it again.
Summary: Rise of The Argonauts was a very satisfying buy. The game is very fun, the graphics are very good and you are transported to the Greek Mythology era. For any Greek Mythology or Fantasy-Fiction fans I highly recommend it. You get to see all kinds of legendary characters, from humans to monsters. The fighting action is intense, dynamic and overall very good. Unlike other RPGs, the weapon-changing system is very fast and efficient.
Summary: If possible - I would have given 3.5/5 This game is better than the critics said!! I thought it could have been a great game, but fell short of that. The story is great, I just wish the game around it was executed better. Before I start with the gameplay, the graphics on this game are just above PS2 level, slightly better simply because the HD allows it to stay non-pixelated on my 50" TV.
Summary: The game was all right, I was excited about playing this game because when I read about it, I imagined a free world roaming type of game. But I was wrong, there is not to much fighting in the game, its more of a movie and doing little quest for people and upgrading your powers. The storyline was pretty good if you like greek mythology. There is a lot of names you cant even pronounce but, just stick with it and it gets easy.
Summary: [Story:] Rise of the Argonauts takes place in Ancietn Greece, when the gods walked among humans and all manners of beasts roamed the lands. A place where the line between reality and dream seem to blur together and make anything possible. And that is, in fact, the premise of this entire game: Doing the impossible. You play as the mythic figure, Jason. King of Iolcus and Warden of Zeus, it is Jason's task to defend his island home from all threat.
Summary: I actually liked this game but it could have been a lot better. The storyline was good. The weapons and armor upgrades were nice as well. The fact that you can talk to just about anyone is cool as well. You get to decide how to respond to people based on what your four patron gods would expect you to say. I feel like the graphics could have been better and the game was too short. Apart of the reason it was too short was becasue it was too easy.
Conclusion: The game has so much promise and i enjoy the mythical story of the game. The charcaters are good and the storyline is detailed. However, more action and fighting would make this more gripping and less dialogue. In short a good game but more action and less talking would improve it.
Conclusion: I bought this game 4 months ago and played about 2 hours then gave up. HOWEVER..... I recently got some time off work and have gone back to playing this before trading it in and I have to say.....THANK GOD I GAVE IT ANOTHER GO!!! This is a game rich on story line and background! There is alot of story and intellectual interaction which proves to be rewarding as you gain the favour of the 4 themed gods.
