Summary: Rise of the agronauts is a waste of money. It has ps2 graphics. The game is very easy. Combat system is just lame. Same finishing attacks all the time. All you have to do is press triangle to win basicly. Whenever i press triangle i chop a guy in half the same way over and over again. This game gets boring after a short time. Story is not so bad but still pretty boring. The whole game looks like a cartoon. It has tons of glitches. Characters just disappear.
Summary: NB: For those of you who love RPGs, this is DEFINITELY NOT an action rpg, so please, don't be fooled. This is a substandard "God Of War" clone with only the thinnest spreading of charm to recommend it. Boasting a paper-thin plot (wife killed, quest begun, allies recruited, baddies defeated - it is literally that linear) and a mawkish, awkward interface (there is no minimap and the secondary powers HUD is deeply unresponsive), "Rise Of The Argonauts" could have been so,...
Summary: I read the reviews on here and I decided to get this game. When I put it in my PS3 I was hoping for a game where I could build a character like Oblivion or Fallout 3. After playing for about a half hour I decided the game wasn't what I wanted to spend my money on so I returned it to gamestop. The thing that I didn't like at all is that the game just seemed to be a button masher type. You hit square for attack and triangle for power attack.
Summary: I've been looking forward to Rise of the Argonauts (ROTA) since I saw it previewed in Game Informer magazine way back in May 2007. It intrigued me with a dynamic combat system tied to a robust role-playing experience, complete with character-building through a unique and innovative still tree system. Unfortunately, the final product is a sub-par, apparently rushed mess, and for most players, an utter waste of $60.
