Summary: I loathed the Ridge Racer series from the very beginning. To me they all represented the most basic "go forward and turn corners" nature of racing games, they were all so linear and plain. Recently I was so bored and desperate for a decent racing game that I took a chance on Ridge Racer Unbounded and was pleasantly surprised that it is a deviation from the formula and comes across as more of a cross between Burnout Paradise and Motorstorm Apocalypse .
Summary: It's a quite ok arcade racing game basically, problem it has is that it kinda lacks content, it's fun to play and all but that extra content would be what would push it to among actually good games now it's just kinda fun racing game but nothing special.
Summary: I was expecting this game to be average and get boring very quickly, but with this level of all-round quality I'm struggling to think of anything wrong with it! Yes, it may be similar to some other games and there is no doubt that it's lacking in variety, but come on. Other than that, this game couldn't really be improved.
Summary: Ridge racer needed some new material so they decided to go with the Burnout formula. But they Failed. Stupid cars, horrible tracks. Good Graphics. but that does not matter. The overall aspect i got from this game was it was trying too hard to be burnout. Destroying cars and buildings got me that factor. Compared to Burnout Paradise i'd rather get that game. The game has cops but they can't bust you and they just get in the race.
