Really fun battle system, but everything else is pretty bad.

Summary: If I was judging the game based solely on it's combat system I'd give it 5 stars, but there's more to it than that. The story is VERY slow! I've put over 50 hours into the game and it's story has opened up about as much as any other JRPG would at the 10 hour mark (and JRPG storylines are already...
Summary: Despite the reviews, I went ahead and purchased this game since it is a JRPG and I love playing this type of games. The story is pretty well-written although it does lag at times and the combat system takes some time to get down before it really gets interesting.
Summary: The game is certainly fun with an interesting combat system. The story doesn't seem to deep quite yet and I'm about 12 hours into it. Most of that however has been learning the combat system itself.
Summary: I'm only 2 hours in so far, but I like how complex the game is. The graphics are a little 'grainy' compared to other RPG titles (Enchanted Arms, FF13), but it's still awesome. I link hitting enemies with 60+ hit combos!
Summary: Visually this game is good. The story is okay. The one thing that really bothers me with this game is how repetitive it feels. The combat system may have lots of elements to it, but it's for that reason that you find yourself using similar strategies each time and it just bores the life out of you.
this game looks like it should have been released on PS2

Summary: In the short time I've played, I can generally say 2 things. 1.) The battle system is very unique and unlike any JRPG I've ever played. 2.) The graphics are downright awful, this game looks like it should have been released on PS2. Can't say much else, didn't play the game enough.
Excerpt: This game takes ages in the beginning to understand how to battle, to do the (several) tutorials and read the instructions. So the player needs to be persistant and have the patience to go through it all.
