Summary: I don't like the direction Capcom took the Resident evil series. The series no longer has that surprise and scary atmosphere among other things, compared to the original series which is the best.
Summary: Resident evil 6 is the worst resident evil ever made. It's more action oriented and the many campaigns just makes the story more convoluted and less interesting. I wouldn't recommend this game at all; even resident evil 5 is better and that isn't saying much. I'm still a fan of the old school static-camera resident evil, but out of the games with the over-the-shoulder game play, I recommend Resident evil 4 only.

Summary: Bought the game a year after it came out, knowing about its mixed reviews. Big RE fan and just had to try it for myself. Enjoyed the game, but the QTE's (Quick Time Events) ruined it for me big time. Pros: -Updated controls and camera, total control (almost) of the character and camera. Needs some tweaks. -Game looks good, atmosphere not as bad as people say. -Melee mechanics are okay, also needs some tweaks. -Mercenaries, as usual, is awesome. -Boss battles were cool.
Summary: On the whole, I found this game pretty boring. That's especially disappointing because I really did like RE5 (Gold) a lot. First off, it's not really one game, but four separate missions with four separate characters. So it lacks the usual sense of a coherent overall plot. Also, I found the controls difficult to master. I'm far from a "hard-core" gamer, so maybe that's my problem, but the lack of a manual meant actually taking notes while playing the prologue.
