alchemy432, Ebay
11 February 2011
  • Summary: ok. so there are miners getting red ore.. or some type of ore on a planet.. you must destroy them for killing your friend.. you can drive your martian rover and shoot the miners.. collect scraps for upgrades.. The best part of this game is choosing the sledge hammer, then walking up behind your own crew and smashing them with it.. then watch as the rest of the crew tries to kill you.. FUN TIMES.. FUN TIMES. i was laughing the whole time..

Cheapskate Gamer Review: Red Faction Guerilla

sundsvold123, Ebay
17 August 2010
  • Summary: Welcome to another Cheapskate Gamer review Plot: The plot for this red faction is extremely simple. Bad government oppressing people, people form guerilla militia to fight bad government. There are no sudden twists, no hidden loyalties, no sneaky plans behind plans. I found myself really wishing there was. If you are looking for a good plot, look elsewhere. Graphics: The graphics in this game are really quite good. The textures are well defined and clean.

Not what i expected

fish monster , GameStop
17 May 2010
  • Summary: The game is nothing like anything i expected, i find it quite repetitive and not to mention when you die you are spawned at a safe house then you have to drive all the way back to the thing you were going to destroy!!! i think also if they allowed you to have more than four weapons considering not all the weapons cause a lot of damage and when you run out of amo you just gotta run for your life.

Red Faction Guerrilla

dmor52, Ebay
4 January 2010
  • Summary: My grandson is 14 and his mother lets him play M rated games. He asked for this for Christmas. It has a LOT of language and violence, but of course that's what he likes. It has a lot of action and he likes it very much...I wish he didn't.

Its like a bad version of GTA

lostweapon , GameStop
27 June 2009
  • Summary: Dont get me wrong. this game is very entertaining. but this game lacks alot. all you can pretty much do is destroy stuff, drive around, or shoot people. i find this feeling like a bad version of GTA minus all the fun stuff like eating and hookers and relationships. the online lags like crazy. i play games online all the time but im not sure why but the multiplayer lags badly for me. maybe it just needs a patch or two but when are they coming?.

Blowing things up is fun!

Melesmeles, amazon.co.uk
17 July 2013
  • Summary: This is by now way the best game out for the PS3 but I spent 25 happy hours on it. For what I spent on this game it's probably the best value game I have bought. You get to blow up lots of things that collapse very pleasingly. You get to kill lots of people with a massive hammer. You get to shoot lots of people with massive guns.

Bringing down the house

Matthew, Amazon
27 October 2012
  • Summary: Red faction guerilla does one thing really well. Bustin crap up. Destroying buildings, vehicles and structures with your trusty hammer or maybe a few explosives, after you have done it a few times you'll find that's all you want to do. Just run around tearing up the landscape. Driving is long and rather dull, shooting is inaccurate and sloppy. And after a meandering campaign, the ending is kind of mediocre.

Open world destruction can be less exciting than it sounds.

D. A. Plumb "Brandon Heat", amazon.co.uk
22 October 2011
  • Summary: Destruction engines are great things. You can better believe in an environment that can be accurately remoulded by explosions. Not only that, but if done well it can make for some tactical play. Take out bridges that enemies need, create new shortcuts through the floors and walls. The original red faction was a first person shooter that used the destruction engine. And it worked. It just wasnt the best shooter. Now comes an open world attempt.
